Hey Richard, I think Grif has been a good player for the Reds and a GREAT player over all… and I agree that he got to where he is fairly without blatant drug use. I just wish we could have gotten him when he was at his peak with Seattle. He deserves all of the Cincy fans admiration and respect-for that matter he deserves all of people of MLB’s respect. When he leaves the Reds there will be a void.
I don’t think he was at his peak in Seattle. I think he spent what would have been his prime on the DL.
