I just discovered that William Ayers also blogs on WordPress. Not only does he use the software, his blog is actually hosted by WordPress. Does that make me a terrorist?
I must confess, this is the real reason that Rock the Boat will be moving to RockTheBoatBlog.com on Monday, October 6th. I can’t allow myself [...]

From CNN:
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday slammed Sen. Barack Obama’s political relationship with a former anti-war radical, accusing him of associating “with terrorists who targeted their own country.”
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin lashed out at Sen. Barack Obama’s ties to controversial figure William Ayers.
Palin’s attack delivered on the McCain campaign’s announcement that it would step [...]

The ever-reliable Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll has Obama holding steady with a 6 point lead: 51-45
For each of the past nine days, Obama has been at 50% or 51% and McCain has been at 44% or 45%.

At first I thought Palin was doing surprisingly well, aside from a few voice quivers that displayed her nerves. Than I noticed what was going on.
Palin wasn’t answering the questions. She would give an anecdote, a catchphrase, or a canned response after each question in order to burn up about 3/4 of her allotted [...]

Yeah, Gwen Ifill penned a book about racial politics that talks about Barack Obama. So what? She is a journalist. It is her purpose in life to have opinions while remaining objective. Therefore, there shouldn’t be any problem with her moderating a debate.
But there is a problem, and its that Republicans are idiots. They are [...]

From the ever-reliable Rasmussen:
Barack Obama once again attracts 50% of the vote while John McCain earns 44%. This six-point advantage matches Obama’s biggest lead yet and marks the first time he has held such a lead for two-days running. Obama is now viewed favorably by 57% of voters, McCain by 55%.

Everyone is saying Obama won the debate. Honestly, I’m happy if that is the case but that isn’t what I saw. I saw John McCain, the head master, chasing Obama around the stage like a naughty school boy. I have expected McCain to bend him over his knee and start spanking him. [...]

I’m as surprised as you are, but the Democrats apparently grew some balls during this financial crisis:
House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) angrily accused House Republicans — with the tacit support of Republican presidential candidate John McCain — of crafting an alternative to undercut Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
Both McCain and his Democrat rival, [...]
